The diaper is very soft deerskin, K, and he set aside his bow and quiver before the pic was taken on the advice of his publicist Leon Barnard, since style mavins like Eve Babitz had declared the whole medieval thing to be just sooo unhip/uncool by 1945...
I still believe in the Cosmic Giggle, even if Rolling Stone doesn't any more.

Janet, you just always show up outta the clear blue sky...anyway, girl, I gave "spicy change" my email....does that make me a dummy? How did you get photos from Morrison's childhood? Are y'all friends with his family?

SG, I wish you'd pay attention. I didn't post the picture, that was Tex--who also knew Jim--and as far as I know these pictures are widely available online. Some of them were published in the Jim Morrison Scrapbook but I'm too lazy to dig out my copy of that book to see which ones.

On edit: as far as this Spicey Change dude or dudette goes:I have no idea (nor do I care) who that is, so you're on your own there...
