That was awesome! I've heard it before, but I like the graphics to tell the story!

Jim would of loved my mashed potatoes! Not to brag, but they're the best, so I'm told!

Thank you for posting this adrienne, great find! The graphics is funny and I enjoyed Jim´s voice so much.

And thanks for posting the whole interview manhime. I haven´t heard it before and maybe others here either.
...He communicated with emotion, rage, grace, and wisdom. He offered very little in the way of compromise...

This is wonderful, thanks for sharing! What a great little video.

Pssst: Jim is so nice and Howard is so rude! Asking someone's weight and then sucking your teeth in an openly skeptical way at their reply. But Jim just keeps on being charming and sweet.

I agree that Howard is being rude while Jim is maintaining his dignity. And here it is again......about his weight. I just don't get it...Jim was not ever, ever fat! And what in the world would posses this man, Howard to even ask such a question? You would think with his question being leveled at Jim, that any reader would be salivating to know just what Jim weighs. And with Howard's hesitation in his reply with "really", he must be thinking Jim's really a 200 plus pounder. Such disrespect! No wonder Jim did had to dodge his way around in interviews and get a few beers down.

Hey Manhime,

With all due respect , Jim did not put on much weight....he was not ever fat. It was written he put on a lot of weight but if he did, he hid it very well, because I never saw Jim fat.

Maybe Howard started the rumor....

I hope he was thumbing his nose at Howard :D

I was just saying that Jim said he was at school and gained weight to 185 lbs and clearly he was the same or heavier for the Howard interview. So when he said 150lb and Howard said really? It was an obvious lie.

Oh, you bet he was! Jim was toying with that poor oaf the way a cat plays with a toy. It was quite the culture clash.

I still believe in the Cosmic Giggle, even if Rolling Stone doesn't any more.

He never looked fat, just a little bloated in the end. At least according to the few Paris pics. Plus, a beard will give you the appearance of a fuller face.

180 pounds at almost 6 feet is not fat. :)
