In Topic: Hollywood Bowl 68 Blu Ray re-edt and companion CD

The vocal for Hello, I Love You is the studio version. Regarding parts that were restored, there are too many to name. Just a few: the WTMO intro is longer. The original LMF vocal was restored. Many of Robby's original guitar parts throughout the performance were restored.

Great thanks. I assumed it was the original Hello vocal on there with some sort of voice effect. They should haved used a vocal from an alternate take, assuming that they are laying around somewhere.
I'll have dig out my Hollywood Bowl CD and do some comparisons.
Did you pick up the dvd or bluray?

Just got my copy of the cd today. Can anyone expound on the liner notes in reference to the vocal edits? Where did the vocal from Hello, I Love You come from? What parts have been changed back from the 80s releases? Sounds great so far. I'll likely grab the blu-ray when I get the chance. I'm hoping that looks good.

My local record store had 2 vinyl copies of the new LAW release. I just got home with my copy!

I got mine too. The first record is warped! The inside of the gatefold has a large crease at the spine. It won't even close correctly.
Fantastic. LAW 40th has been a nightmare.

And they wonder why people rip music off youtube...

Why don't they reward the people who purchase the physical product w/ the bonus songs?
Hey while you are working on the 3CD set, why don't you toss that Paris Blues snipped on there.
