Jim's friends are lying.

22 September 2013 - 03:30 PM

It is fair to conclude that Jim's socalled friends really didn't know him that well.

They have roamed the board for years, and left in disgrace, when they were asked to back up their stories.

Lately Mizscarlett claimed Maggie Fink made a pass at Jim, which he turned down.

Maggie Fink was considerably younger than Max, and seems to have made a move on Max's handsome young client, was politely rebuffed, and got her revenge after both Max and Jim were safely out of the way and couldn't call her on her BS.

When asked hos Mizscarlett knowa this, she states she "forgot".

Teassky claims Penny Courson, Pam's mother, is stalling.

Penny Courson is stalling and holding up many things that were inherited.
As I also understand Corky Courson was there on the set of the Doors movie....every bit of the way. I wonder how he liked Pam introducing heself as ":ornament:. That is certainly a blow for Jim's relationship to set the tone of his honored girlfriend.

When asked hos Texassky know thus, she states someone from "The Doors Circle" told her.

It is fair to say, that besides these claims being slanderous, they are also lies.

Jim Morrison

is the greatest rocksinger.

I think his vocal performance on When the Music´s Over from Strange Days is not only the best vocal performance, but also the most important one, ever recorded.

He sings with an intensity and raw power that pushes the song and its themes across to the listener in a very direct manner.

The spoken words with the drum fills precedes rap/ rhythm and poetry with 10 years. Just like The Wasp is.

I´ve always found this stanza to be the peak of the song:

Persian night, babe
See the light, babe
Save us!
Jesus!
Save us!

What does Jim mean with "Persian Night."?- Is it derived from 1001 Nights, was it a term au courant at the time or is it a reference to Sodom and Gommorah.

- Is it just me, or is there a similarity in the choice of lay-out?

Rolling Stone always was a dumb-ass magazine.

The best poster- thruout the years.

Nowm with the board closing down, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone, who made this the funniest place on the internet.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the board and all the interesting posts regarding everything The Doors, but also some heavy private matters, esp. during the halycon days of the Severed Garden.

Jesse and The Blue Lady have been some of the wittiest and brightest minds I ever came across!

But, they must take a backseat when it comes to the most interesting posts.

I proudly put myself forward as the best poser...er...poster on The Doors boards.
